Hard Rock Hotel Chicago (www.hardrock.com/locations/hotels/chicago): This new addition to the Chicago's Magnificent Mile pays homage to Chicago's own rock-and-roll legacy while giving you a comfortable stay and fantastic views of downtown Chicago. Hard Rock Hotel's corporate staff recently participated in a Care Team event at Marah's transitional housing for women facing abuse and/or homelessness. They barbequed, played games, and contributed rockin' prizes.

Special Olympics Chicago (www.sochicago.org): Spreading their motto of "Let Me Win, But if I Cannot Win, Let Me Be Brave in the Attempt," Special Olympics Chicago provides challenging and exciting sporting competitions and events for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Special Olympics Chicago provides many volunteer opportunities for the Care Team through which CPS students can complete their Service Learning hours.

Dignity Diner (www.muralchurch.org/Involve.htm#DigDiner): Unique, vegetarian, restaurant-style meal program for Chicago residents facing hunger and homelessness. Dignity Diner is a volunteer site for the Care Team.

Planned Parenthood Chicago Area (www.plannedparenthood.org/pp2/chago/): Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area (PP/CA) provides medical services, educational programs and counseling to women, teens and men.

Lookingglass Theatre Company (www.lookingglasstheatre.org): The Lookingglass Studio provides creative and affordable theatre arts classes to Chicago's youth taught by a professional theatre company. In a nurturing and safe environment, young people are encouraged to grow in personal self-esteem while exploring the creative process within a community of their peers. The Lookingglass Studio is committed to the belief that early drama education fosters a lifelong love for the arts and prepares the individual to perform with confidence and self respect when meeting life's challenges.

Chicago Women's Health Center (www.chicagowomenshealthcenter.org): Chicago Women's Health Center (CWHC) is a 30-year-old organization dedicated to providing affordable health care and related services to women regardless of ability to pay. in 1975, a group of women healthcare providers and activists formed the health center for women in the community. The CWHC is the longest operating women's health collective in the United States.

Hill House (www.hillhouse.org) Over the past four decades, it is estimated that the Hill House has provided care and support for more than 500,000 children, adults and seniors living in urban environments. The Hill House serves clients through five strategic program areas: early learning and child development, youth services, family and workforce development, senior services and neighborhood services. In addition, the agency offers complementary health and human services to its clients through 10 tenant agencies that reside on the Hill House campus.

Mentoring Partnership of Southwestern Pennsylvania (www.mentoringpittsburgh.org) The Mentoring Partnership of Southwestern Pennsylvania expands community capacity to support quality-mentoring relationships for youth.
