Art Imitating Life - Carnegie Magazine: Summer, 2007.
A dozen faces stare at a television. Black and white images flash on the screen. Laughter breaks out in the room and 11-yearold Sydney bows her head, covering her face with her hands. Her friends in the Mission Discovery program at Hill House are watching Sydney mimic Andy Warhol's famed Screen Tests on video during "game night" with the students and their parents. While Warhol's muses looked straight into the camera, barely moving, Sydney giggles during her screen test, and her friends catch her infectious, onscreen laughter.

In a corner, a group of homeless individuals are engaged in a heated discussion about cocaine. With their personal possessions stored in tattered gym bags close by their side, the group talks and laughs as they discuss cocaine and homelessness.
BBBS Site-Based Program Teams with Higher Education - Big News: Winter 2007.
The BBBS Site-based mentoring program has developed progressive new methods of volunteer recruitment through partnerships with students of area universities. The program is working with students leaders to organize student-run BBBS "subsidiaries" that play a formal role in on-site recruitment.
Team M3 - Marathon 2007.
On October 7th, under unseasonably warm conditions, Team M3 members made their way to the starting line. With record-breaking heat predicted, slow and steady was the order of the day. This was more then a race, it was a journey. As groups passed each other with high fives and well wishes, each mentor/student team had one goal in mind: completing the marathon.

On Sunday August 12, 2007, Team M3 students and mentors took part in the Chicago Distance Classic. Team M3 is proud to announce that all 20 students and 22 mentors that took their places at the start line successfully ran the half-marathon.
