The MGR Foundation created the Arts & Humanities program area to provide students with an artistic outlet and a new perspective on their problems and the world around them.

Murals: Changing lives through creative expression
Murals uses visual arts, drama, music, dance and spoken word to engage at-risk youth, their families and communities, with positive choices and constructive alternatives. These forms of creative expression provide an opportunity for at-risk youth to examine their lives and communities, and reconsider their social and educational choices. Murals reflects back to the community images of hope and empowerment by opening minds and expanding horizons.
