	Our Communities Every week, over 100 families have access to high-quality food needed to provide nutritious meals for community youth and their families. Pittsburgh youth used the arts as a cross-state organization tool to end education cuts that were hurting low-income students. Three abandoned lots in Chicago were converted into a living classroom, providing an outdoor learning tool that can be used for many years to come by teachers and a place that produces food for community members in a food desert. 			Peer Corps: Our Newest Initiative In 2012, MGR Foundation will be launching its newest initiative, Peer Corps. Our Board of Directors has become increasingly concerned about the extremely high rate of recidivism for youth entering our juvenile detention centers.
